From 18 to 20 June 2025, Naples hosted Planeterranea, an international symposium dedicated to the relationship between food, culture, and health. As part of the event, the 2^nd Yale Symposium on Gastronomy and Culture was also held, in collaboration with the OnFoods network (Spoke 5).

The symposium was organized by the UNESCO Chair in Health Education and Sustainable Development, the Yale School of Public Health, the OnFoods Foundation, the PRIMA programme, and a wide network of academic institutions.

With the participation of more than 30 international experts, Planeterranea fosters dialogue on the Mediterranean Diet as a global model of sustainability, cultural heritage, and health.
