Awards in memory of D. Trichopoulos

On Saturday, May 24, 2025, as part of the 51st Panhellenic Medical Conference, an event was held in memory of D. Trichopoulos.
The event culminated with the presentation of the Dimitrios Trichopoulos Award to two young scientists, in recognition of their excellence and dedication to the values of science.
Specifically, Ms Stratoniki Velissaridi received the award from the Rector of the NKUA, Mr. Siasos, as she ranked first in the Panhellenic Greek University Entrance Exams for the academic year 2024-2025 and was admitted to the Medical School of NKUA with 19,775 points.
The President of the Athens Medical School, Mr. Arkadopoulos, presented the award to Mr. Evaggelinos Michelis, who graduated top of his class from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a degree grade of 9.57.
