On April 2-4, 2026, the 52nd Annual Panhellenic Medical Congress was organized by the Athens Medical Sociatey at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre.

The program following an interdisciplinary approach, covered a broad range of topics concerning all health sciences, focusing on continuing medical education, support of young physicians, and the improvement of healthcare services.

Among the congress themes, emphasis was placed on all stages of patient care (patient pathway), the utilization of innovative health applications, and a holistic approach to the aspects of medicine and public health with the active participation of Patient Associations.

During the cogress, the 8^th Event in Memory of D. Trichopoulos took place, in the context of which the "D. Trichopoulos" awards were presented.
