The Panhellenic Student Bioscientists Conference (PSBC) is an initiative by the students of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Democritus University of Thrace, aimed at the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of innovation in Bioscience.

The 4^th PSBC took place on March 20-22, held for the first time in Ioannina, focusing on the theme of well-being and the interaction between mind, soul, and body. Within the framework of the conference, Academician Dr. Antonia Trichopoulou delivered a keynote speech titled: 'Mediterranean Diet: yesterday, today, tomorrow'.
